Well, my vacation that I had been planning, has come and gone and it was fabulous. Aruba was truly everything I thought it would be and more. I know that when I first joined SparkPeople back in January of this year, my main reason for wanting to lose weight was to not feel so contentious in a bathing suit. I had originally planned on going from 149 to 130. With all being said and done, I made it to 138. Not bad but not my goal. For some reason about a week or two before the vacation I started to fall off and not follow my exercise program quite as closely as I had. I wasn't going to achieve my long term goal after all so I felt again some failure in my falling short. Well I am now 2 weeks removed from vacation and I still haven't started to exercise or even follow my caloric intake like I know I should, plus I have been fighting a very nasty cold so my energy his been null and void. So, here I am, back at 145. Amazing how quickly the pounds seem to pile back on. Am I discouraged? A bit. But I know it is through my own fault.
So I guess is I need help to get back on track. To get back into exercising, to get back to leading that healthy lifestyle that I want so much to change to. Has anyone else been in this position?
I have set a new target date for weight loss: August 30th and I hope to get to 130 by then.
Any words of advice or offers of encouragement is needed and most welcome. Thanks! Kat
