I just bought Walk it Out for the Wii! I had a lot of fun using it last night. I got 5,000 steps (1.4 miles, I think). For some reason, I thought 5,000 steps would be much, much harder to reach. I guess it was easier because I was having fun. I paid for it today, but then again I did a lot of walking before I even turned on the game. (Shopping)
Wii Fit Plus also seems very motivating and fun. I've realized that I've got to keep it fresh and fun if I'm going to lose weight. I always thing of my work-outs as a chore. In fact, I stopped using the word "exercise" because it was such a turn off. "Physical activity" is something I feel like I can deal with a bit more.
I've been dealing with a lot of fatigue after work, so maybe during the week, I can set gentler goals and try to focus on consistency over duration. I can build up my stamina, I hope.
