While setting up my meal plans, I realized that even though I am vegan, I haven't been getting enough nutrients on a daily basis. Some days yes, and some days no. One of the things that I am working on is making sure I eat enough food and the right foods for my body. I get caught up in other things and forget to eat or feel rushed to eat and then pick foods that are convenient. Not a good thing.
About 4 years ago, I temporarily went raw for 3 weeks and stuck with the meal plans that were recommended. I never felt better in my life. Considering the foods that I prefer to eat and counting in the nutritional factors, it appears that raw is the way for me to go. I have thought about it often over these past years, but didn't want to put the time into figuring out a healthy plan. It all comes down to one thing...taking the time and energy to lovingly nurture the most important things in my life, which is my body, mind and spirit. Afterall, without them, what is there?
