Nothing is as important as your program!

I know how bogged down we can become here at SparkPeople - and I know how good it feels to give back to the community.

But nothing is as important as your program and staying on track. Not sparkpoints, not sparkteams - these are tools to help you stay on track.

You will do it!

So true. I find myself over extending myself a lot, and then I pull back so much I hurt my own program. Thanks for this reminder.

I agree: gotta track the nutrition, track the fitness: everything else is motivation to do the main things!!

I so do agree with you, Linda!!! I've been doing pretty good even though I couldn't get online for the past week, thanks to that calorie book and my little notebook I keep all my goals written down in!

Thanks Linda. Sometimes I froget where my focus should be and I just don't feel like taking care. When I read a blog, such as your's, I remember what I am doing here to begin with. Thanks, back on track

Thanks Linda. At one point I think I was really getting bogged down in trying to accumulate Spark Points. I had to realize that while they are nice, the program is what is important. I just returned from a 30 minute walk, during which time I could have been trying to accumulate points. actually I did accumulate 6, so it wasn't a total loss as far as that goes. But i think everyone would agree that the walk was more important!!!

That goes for all the other reasons and distractions we have in our lives. Words of wisdom. You are proof of that! thanks.

As they say about the oxygen masks on airplanes: put your own on first before helping others. So whatever it takes... work your program first! emoticon emoticon
