I Am Learning . . . .

Monday, May 17, 2010

Good Day Sparkfam! I know its Monday I some of you may be feeling a bit out of sorts but there is room to celebrate another day we have been blessed with. We need to show our appreciation to others as well as our loved ones. Case and point, Saturday the Hubby & I are on I290 battling traffic since the road work began, I see a guy with his blinker to merge with our lane. I ask him are you going to let him in? He smirks at me and pulls up. I find that very distressing as I am working on being more courteous in my truck. For those of you that don't know, I have a certain level of impatience when I get in my truck. Okay okay, my kids call it road rage def con I. I used to be at def con 3 but I have mellowed out with trying to love others as I love myself. Well, there is a lesson to be learned in all things & that is teach by doing. . . .lol

Today, I am doing power walking, I did All Star Workouts Sara Ivanhoe Yoga with weights, later today will be abs, tae bo & my QFC. Hope you guys keeping up. . . .

God bless & Happy Monday!

Dee

It is road karma. I taught my kids when I taught them to drive that if they let peeps in, then they are more likely to get let in when they need it.

I haven't been on the Ike since the construction, heard it is a beeyatch!

Traffic and construction are two things that I hate . I learned my lesson a few years ago with this guy who pulled out in front of me (on a back road, at night) and then he hits the brakes and I almost hit him, that made me mad and so I hit my high beams and long story short this guy went nuts on me! I was in fear of my life , if it was not for another car coming and my pulling away as fast as I could he would have done something to me, I have no doubt about that. Next morning I saw the news and this guy's face was on TV! he killed his wife who was having an affair and injured her boyfriend and that is when he went on a crazy driving expedition and ran into me (lucky me) anyway he killed himself later that night. So you are doing the right thing by being patient with people, it's not worth it. On a happier note, emoticon on doing so well with your fitness program! You are emoticon Dee, god bless , Ann emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

I am all too familar with this concept but I think my hubby is worse. I have to tell him all the time to calm down because it's not worth it because we have too many crazy people out there that would hurt you for no reason. So think about yourself first and forget about the little things. You will get your blessings for it.
