The dreaded scales

Today I have hit day 7 of my life change and every day since starting I haven't been able to resist the urge of stepping onto the scales first thing every morning! I know it's not recommended and I have noticed that weight fluctuates so much depending on what you've eaten or drank, so I don't know why I do it really!
So today I am going to go out and get a measuring tape for my measurements instead, then I will be able to stop jumping on the scale in the mornings and just measure myself each month!
Swimming is really helping with my breathing as well as endurance and even after the first week of this life choice I already feel happier everyday and more energetic, it's also helping me be more productive in what I do everyday.
To that end, to all those people out there who are struggling, don't think of the negatives, remember how great it feels to finish a workout, or how much more energy you have everyday, if we look to the positives and forget the negatives then we can achieve whatever we want in life!
