10 lbs, yippee

Sunday, May 16, 2010

What is it about getting to and passing the 10 lbs mark that is so uplifting. Confirmation that we are doing something right? Whatever it is, I am thrilled this am. I have actually lost about a pound more cause I lost a pound before starting SP.
Obviously with 40+ lbs to go, I am still distressed by what I see in the mirror. I think I will post some pics so I have some visuals to go by. "Seeing" myself is never easy, I don't see my own weight changes at all, either on the way up or on the way down. Until I've lost like 30 lbs, I won't be able to tell the difference. Hope the next two travel weeks go well. I have special requested a vegan diet so perhaps it won't be too difficult. Wish me luck everyone and if you have any special tips for travel outside the country, let me know. I am bringing food!

I just figured out how to adjust my starting weight so I did that and also reset my goal weight to what I REALLY want to be. 129Lbs is the new goal.
