My grandparents finally arrived yesterday. Extremely late on their part, but gave usa extra time to finish majorly cleaning up. They left Toronto on Tuesday at 6am. didn't arrive until 9:30pmish last night. It's roughly a 25 hour drive, going through the American way. A few problems, there was something wrong with the car, so they took it to a mechanic, didn't leave until noon one day, took a few wrong turns, even when they recently got a new map from CAA. CAA not bright, gave them a map going through the states, gave them a book on hotels, restaurants, etc, which was nice of them, but it was for the Canadian route. They had to go back get get the book that suggested hotels for the US chains.
Anyways, my gramma is the navigator and feeds my grampa food, so he won't fall asleep at the wheel, it also rained while they were about 5 hours away, so they had to take their time, they don't like to, esp. at their age (gramma 75, grampa 78).
Anyways, with the extra time, we were able to finish cleaning up the kitchen (when I finally left last night, there was only 1 load left to do), finally finished painting the stairs, and started cleaning up my old room, my mom's new room.
Once my grandparents leave (which I haven't seen them yet), I want to finish cleaning up the last room, then I told my mom we can reward ourselves from the hard work and go shopping at KP. We still have loads to do in the house, but the major cleaning is out of the way. Done with the plenty of garbages, donations, ripping out the carpets, whatnot. Now we just have to go room by room, and figure out what has to be done with each room.
It shouldn't take up too much more time to do the last bedroom, I am thinking maybe 2 or 3 visits at most. My mom might be inconvienenced, and maybe has to sleep in the master bedroom, which she will consider the spare bedroom/craftsroom. Bigger room for guests like my grandparents (it has the bigger bed there), plus the lighting for doing crafts like sewing or crocheting/knitting is better there (more sun shines in that room than the smaller room).
I woke up this morning, I didn't realize how sore I am from yesterday. Still tired, but cannot sleep anymore. My eyes are still watering a bit. I woke up just over an hour ago. I think maybe going to the gym might help. I'll see, I suppose.
Is it possible to not always want to eat breakfast? I know it's the most important meal of the day. I always eat it. Lately, it seems like when I wake up (anywhere from 7:30-915am) I am not hungry. I don't always eat when I first wake up. I'm fine with that, esp. when it 7:30 am. But there are times when its 10am when I realize I haven't eaten yet, I don't see much point in eating when lunch is right around the corner. Yet I make myself eat anyways. I always had no problem before, but within the last 3 months or so, I've noticed this problem. Not sure what to do.
Anyways, I should get going.
