Woo hoo! I am cooking again...

Tuesday, May 11, 2010

I cooked myself a lovely dinner tonight and it was delicious. Honey soy chicken- made the marinade myself- and cauliflower, broccoli and corn. It was yummy! I felt like a queen. Shame my king (Prince Charming) wasn't over tonight, but he will be tomorrow night. What to cook then???

Anyway, feeling much more relaxed, calm and joyful now. Spoke to a dear friend of mine about engagement rings, wedding expenses and Enjo window cleaning products. Had my acupuncture which is working brilliantly so far. Worked and had a great time with the kids. All are making steady if not remarkable progress. Happy happy happy.

As for my baby cat (who will be 5 this year)- she seems to be well again. After waking mommy up at 11:30pm vomiting, she is back to her energetic and teenage lifestyle. Unlike usual, I will not stay up waiting for her. I shall go to bed and wait for her to arrive. I am getting better at this mommy thing.

Much love to my dear friends in cyber world and beyond (hmmmm).

Katrina :)

I'm hungry and this post isn't helping! The meal sounds great, and good to hear that your daughter is all right again. My dog vomits when she's been eating grass.

Will you come cook something healthy for me? I seem to be stuck in a rut. Maybe I'll try a recipe for garlic chile shrimp today. Glad you are doing so beautifully. One of my cats vomited up a hair ball and something red on our freshly cleaned carpets. Can't get the stain out. Bummer!
