It's Called Hunger

Mother's day was filled with family, fun, and food. I tried to budget it, but failed horribly. Like over budget by 700 calories (ice cream). Not to worry, I've bounced back. I have decided to try to "catch up" with my calories by cutting back today on my breakfast (just a banana), Will probably skip the bun on the chicken sandwich today. I read a book called the Fat Loss Troubleshooter and the author said something so simple, and yet so profound. When you eat less than you are use to, you're going to be hungry. This is such a "Doctor Phil" kind of statement (you know the ones like "If you want to win the football gam you've got to scors some touchdowns - really?).
So I'm going with the mindset today that today (and only today), I'm really going to cut back on the calories. This will make me hungry. Study it. Take notes of how it feels. Make sure to get enough calories (let's not be stupid here), and get to know what true hunger feels like.
Then tomorrow go back to eating slightly less calories than ususal (as apposed to today's fairly drastic move). Who knows in the future I may be better at identifying when I am truly hungry.
Lastly, will be hitting the gym/bike tonight.
