I was laying in bed this morning feeling bummed about not having the chance to get much of a workout in during the week when I realized how silly that was and got up. I knew I was going to workout, but I wasn't sure what. The weather prediciton has been cold and rainy for the weekend and I surely didn't want to go on a running adventure for the second time in the cold and rain. I stepped outside and realized it wasn't so bad, so I laced up my running shoes and went! I figured, there's only one way I'm going to reach my goal of being able to run with my fiance and that's by running. Also, I don't want to be stuck in the basement or in the gym for the rest of my life. Although those are both good options, being outside and enjoying myself are much more enjoyable. Also, when I'm running, I get to listen to the music I want to, not what's on the video! As I was running and when I got home, I think I realzied something. This running stuff isn't half bad! By no means is it worse than doing a video. In fact, I have more control and I can still get a good workout in. I am going to up my time running vs. walking shortly, but I think I'll be able to do that! Plus, I got to be outside! And, if I can learn to run now, when we go cross - country skiing in the winter, I'll be better at that, too. I never thought I would say this, but I think I'm becoming a runner!
