Red, White, Blue and Tea!

Tomorrow is the annual Irrigation Festival Parade in my village. It is a big deal here. Lots of people turn out for this, and a whole lot of Patriotism is evident.

This year, Four C's (Concerned Citizens for Clallam County) will be marching. It is our local tea party movement, and for the first time, we will be in an official parade.

I have my Four C tea shirt, jeans and my new red, whit and blue shoes all ready to go. My flag is on it's pole, and I will be carrying it proudly.

I love our country, and that is why I am politically involved in what is going on here.

I am an AMERICAN.............not a REPUBLICAN American, not a DEMOCRAT American. I am an AMERICA'S AMERICAN.

I believe in the Constitution, smaller government, and the freedoms granted to the citizens by means of the Constitution and Bill of Rights.

I do not support Illegal aliens crossing our borders on the sneak, and do support aliens who choose to come here to my great country via law abiding means. It is within our existing laws that any persons coming to America on Visa permits must have their papers on them at all times. This is a simple law, and one that protects our nation.

I believe we do need health care reform, but we need reform that is open, honest, uncomplicated and just for all.

I do not believe that corporations are the Great Satin, and should be taxed to the point of not being able to afford to do business in this country. I believe big corporations have, and will continue, to produce jobs for Americans, providing the tax structure here does not chase them off to third world countries who are more friendly to their existence.

I do not believe that terrorists have any rights whatsoever in our country, and should summarily be executed upon proof of their intentions to kill and destroy my fellow Americans. I do not believe that we need to "understand why they are so motivated". That is like trying to understand why a bomb explodes.

I do not believe that we need National Identification cards. Has anyone ever watch old movies from WW II where the people all had to show their identification papers? It has already been proven that big government is already spying on private citizens. I do not want them spying on me in more ways. I am totally against the "Big Brother" ideation.

I believe our media should return to reporting the NEWS AS IT ACTUALLY HAPPENS, rather than editorialize sensationalism and falsities. The constant bickering in the media is ripping our nation apart.

It is time for us all to stop, take a deep breath, and remember we are Americans, first and foremost. We are NEIGHBORS, FAMILY, FRIENDS. We are NOT each other's enemy.

A great man once said "A nation divided against itself cannot stand". (Abraham Lincoln)

We are becoming too divisive, and have to once again, speak out NOT for our party affiliation, but for our Country.

Tomorrow I march. I march for America. Will you join me? emoticon

You go--it is right to stand up for what you believe, regardless of whether everyone agrees or not. Have a wonderful time and march proudly! That is what this great country of ours is all about.
