i decided to volunteer to coach my daughter's t-ball team this year and i was accepted as a coach. this is the first time i will be coaching a team without any other family members helping me. i am actually looking forward to it and i am getting excited about it. i decided to become a volunteer coach instead of playing baseball myself. focus on spending some extra time with my daughter while learning a whole new set of skills at the same time. i will be learning right along with her. i also heard back from the local coordinator of a charity i am able to volunteer with when i have time. i get to help sell 50/50 raffle tickets and be at a baseball game, too. a team i follow and that my whole family follows. i get to do something i enjoy, helping out others, while getting to enjoy something i love, being at a baseball game. i did complete a c25k session today, my regular cardio workout, some crunches, some jumping jacks and a variety of exercises today. despite some not so positive responses from a few close friends and some family members, i am going ahead with it. how else will i learn if i can do something if i do not give it a full try? no longer do i start something and not finish it. if i believe i can do it, i complete it from start to finish, no matter what the task is. my daughter enjoys being outdoors and is really eager to try out t-ball for the first time. usually, she likes to play soccer in the spring and summer. now, she has changed her mind and seems much more interested in t-ball. it will be only for one hour a week, once a week. that is something that will not interefere too much with her usual bedtime or it will not affect her school time, either. it is in the early evening, after dinner. she has those close to her practicing with her or watching her practice as often as she can. she also enjoys riding on her bike that she got for her birthday. have a great day, all!
