I have remained determined and focus for a length of time worth noting. I have always considered myself the "all over the place" type of gal. Well the new me is flexible but determined.
Yesterday I swam more and harder than I ever imagined I could. I spent and hour in the morning trying to keep up with my friend, aka "dolphin" which nearly killed me. Then I had my swimming lesson in the evening. Already sore and tired from the morning activity I hopped into the water and followed the instructors directions, which (of course) included lots of kick board drills. Oddly enough, an hour later I hopped out the pool feeling refreshed and energetic.
I went home and worked on some stretching and trigger point massages. My partner said "come to bed already" and I said to him "I am d0ing things I never thought possible and I credit your foot massages, the green massage ball, stretching and trigger point massage, and I am not going to cut corners..."
My reward? I broke the plateau today! 149lbs! I was losing weight pretty regularly maybe 1/2 lb a week or more for the first six weeks and then on April 18th, I hit 150lbs and stayed there, even went up a couple of times, and then back down, and then today 149lbs!
