I'm having difficulty balancing the foods I eat. If I get enough calories, I go over on sodium or cholesteral-neither of which is good for me. I think I've met the magnesium requirement once, and maybe the folate too. I don't eat many carbs, and have not for years as my husband was a diabetic and we virtually cut out breads, pasta and most potatoe dish. I'm trying to eat baked potatoes and baked sweet potatoes more often. I live alone and don't find it fun to spend so much time thinking about what I should eat to get all the right nutrients.
I'm supposed to be on a low cholesterol, low sodium diet-packaged foods are not good.
