Have to end my downward spiral TODAY!

It's funny (ok not really) how you can start each day with the best of intentions, and yet time and time again let bad decisions during your day ruin any efforts you started. I had lost 88lbs and within the last month gained back 6lbs from making excuses and stupid decisions. I would like to use end of semester workload and lack of time as an excuse, but the truth is I need to be able to make good decisions regardless.
I am starting to track everything again today and welcome anyone who wants to encourage me if they notice me losing focus in my diet. So once again, I am starting my day with the best of intentions, but today I intend to finish with the best of results.

    Thanks all for the encouragement guys. Bird2020, I definitely have to remember that just because I make a few bad choices, that doesn't give me a free pass to mess up the rest of the day. It is easy to get into the "I'll start again tomorrow" routine and something that I have to be careful of. Thanks again!

    There was a great article today that focused on developing a lifestyle mentality rather than a diet mentality. I thought it hit home! And remember, a single bad decision doesn't have to be a bad day. Take control of the next decision and pat yourself on the back for making it a good one!

    There's one thing about slipping up....it gives you a chance to learn from the mistake....I learned that I have to log my food...I don't have to log it on the website but I have to focus on what and how much I'm eating and it is too easy to fool myself if I don't keep track somehow. So, here's the thing, you're human, don't keep beating yourself up...you know what to do and you can do it...YOU WILL DO IT! My goodness, you have already lost a lot of weight, that is something to be proud of!

    As the Queen of falling off of the wagon I totally know where you're coming from, but look how far you've already come!!! Stick to it!! You're 82 pounds down still and thats an inspiration to me, so don't give in. Pick yourself up dust yourself off and tie yourself to the wagon this time!!

    Holding yourself accountable is better then just having good intentions. But you still have to learn to do the right thing without running to the website to put it in the little tracker.
