Well I got some new motivation on Friday. I went to my new doctor who is AMAZING. He is happy with my blood pressure and blood sugar and decided not to change my medications. He also mentioned the two words that I dread hearing: Gastric Bypass. Luckily, he dropped it as soon as I refused but if things don't change in the next few years I am going to really have to consider it. I have 2 major problems with the surgery. The first one is I know someone who had it done and they are STILL trying to recover. (They almost died!) and the second one is that I like food too much to eliminate any of it permanently. (Although I have not had a soda at all for over 60 days.) I have seen people (mainly celebrities) who have put weight back on after they are able to eat what they want. I feel the safest way for me to lose weight is to do what I have been doing (After all, I have lost 50 pounds this way). So I am going to track my calories, exercise as I have been, read the SPARK, and begin blogging and hopefully someday, I will reach my goal WITHOUT any surgery or any other extreme measures!
