So begins my busy week

Sunday, May 02, 2010

The good thing about busy-ness is that the time seems to go by fast and I don't put a lot of thought into obsessing over calorie intake and calorie burn and calorie deficit, etc.... I just do what I know to do and before I know it the week is over and I am down a pound or so.

I am looking to smash my calorie burn tomorrow. The plan is to get up early... put in an hour workout- 30 min on the treadmill (running for 18) and another 30 on the weight machines. Make it to work by 7:15.... walk 2 miles on the track during lunch... off work by 4:15... then it's down town for a soccer game. Busy, busy day! Somehwere I am going to have to squeeze in time to study for finals.

I need to keep up with this lifestyle. I am not done yet. Weighed in at 144 again this morning. I am really going overboard on the shopping and I need to quit!!! Are there any Spark boards for shopaholics anonymous? I can't afford this... but I have never felt so good about myself. I am wearing clothes that I had dreamed of wearing for the past 13 yrs. For the first time in 13+ yrs I am feeling pretty! I am feeling comfortable in my body.... The shopping has to stop!

You will make it an amazing week with that kind of attitude!! YOU GO GIRL!!! Love your plan!

As for shopping... I like the idea of an upscale resale shop! I've decided that I can't buy any more clothes for myself til I'm under 200... only 7 lbs to go! Maybe make a milestone for yourself for buying a new outfit -- it doesn't have to be weight - maybe a total calorie burn or # of fitness minutes, or even # of days being consistant with whatever you struggle with! Turn it into a reward to spur yourself onward & downward!

I bet it is so much fun buying clothes now! Oh, I want that too for me... I used to think I hated shopping but now I think is is just because I hate it when I'm fat...
When I am thin, I have a feeling I will be loving it~!

Great plan... for your day tomorrow.... Super hectic day it looks like....

That's so great that you're feeling so good about yourself! You deserve it!! I don't know if there's anything around you like this but, near me is a second hand shop that only takes higher end clothing. Since some of my clothes are starting to hang on me, I could really use new but I don't want to, and can't afford to, spend alot of money right now. I stopped there the other day and found amazing deals on my "in between" clothes! I got a pair of jeans, a pair of capris, and three tops for $30! Name brand and like new! I figure I'll let the people with all that money buy stuff, wear it a couple of times, and then discard it like yesterday's news... For right now, I feel good about having "new" things that fit better and also feel good knowing that it didn't cost me a fortune for "temporary" clothes!!
