Not going to be easy

Saturday, May 01, 2010

worked really hard yesterday to clean off porch n yard so that i can FINALLY set up treadmill that has been sitting in my yard for months. felt real stupid when i couldnt make it run on its own. But OMG if i plug it in it works. LMAO
Need to get a new extension cord so that it is plugged in full time. I went out there and walked on it for ten minutes. I know not enough. Just getting started. I know this road is not going to be easy, But I am willing to do it with Soli so that her and I are healthy. I love her so much and i am so scared for her right now. Weight plus nose bleeds all week. two Er visits and she weights more then I do. I am so ashamed of myself. How can I allow her to get so big? I portion and buy healthy but if she is not willing to work what should i do?

I am going online for deals on Natural foods. If anyone knows of any good sites. Please help me! I know there is a lot on here, but i have to show her that it is not just her. this is OUR battle together.

10 minutes is good!!! It is really great! As you get used to it, it will become easier and you can walk for longer. I have faith in you and Soli that you both can do this. Just believe in yourselves and have lots of patience with each other and yourselves.

Good you are getting on the wagon! You cannot "make" Soli, she must decide for herself, BUT you can be a good example! Go girl!

It sounds like you are on the right path. I started on my weight loss journey by just walking 10 minutes and gradually built up the time & distance from there. I was walking up to 4 miles a day several days a week until I had back surgery 8 weeks ago. I know you can do this!!! Just take it slow & easy.

As far as foods go, I usually cook up a batch of brown rice, some veggies and chicken breasts on Sunday. Then I portion out what I am going to eat the next day and just mix them all together in one bowl. It is easier to reheat that way & less dishes to wash. Good luck to both of you on your weight loss journey.
