First, you Come to the garden alone,

FOR THE GARDEN OF YOUR DAILY LIVING,
PLANT THREE ROWS OF PEAS:

1. Peace of mind
2. Peace of heart
3. Peace of soul

PLANT FOUR ROWS OF SQUASH:

1. Squash gossip
2. Squash indifference
3. Squash grumbling
4. Squash selfishness

PLANT FOUR ROWS OF LETTUCE:

1. Lettuce be faithful

2. Lettuce be kind
3. Lettuce be patient
4. Lettuce really love one another

NO GARDEN IS WITHOUT TURNIPS:

1.. Turnip for meetings
2. Turnip for service
3. Turnip to help one another

TO CONCLUDE OUR GARDEN WE MUST HAVE THYME:

1. Thyme for each other
2.. Thyme for family
3. Thyme for friends

WATER FREELY WITH PATIENCE AND CULTIVATE WITH LOVE. THERE IS MUCH FRUIT IN YOUR GARDEN BECAUSE YOU REAP WHAT YOU SOW. NOT BAD, HUH?!

My instructions were to send this to people that I wanted God to bless and I picked

Thanks for sharing we all need reminders to plant peace within ourselves, squash things that are unbecoming to us, let go and let God lead us in daily life, turn up when we are needed by someones else and take the time to enjoy living life one day at a time.

Thanks for posting this, although it made me cry remembering my mother...my YD sang the song the first lines came from at her funeral.

It was a cleansing and thankful emotional release, knowing that she has passed on her values to her children, grandchildren and now great grandchildren that are gardeners, and all have a peace garden.

How I love this blog. It is so on target of how to live and walk according to the Holy Spirit and the word of God. It is so right with all the planting suggestions, lol. We have to make sure that we keep out the weeds, because none of the good stuff will grow without weeding, we have to squash the gossip, indifference, grumbling and selfishness. Dont forget to have peace be our umpire. Thanks again for a great and God inspired blog, and thank you for letting me know about your new ones, and have a great and enjoyable springy week end you and yours. emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

This was absolutely beautiful. I used to sing that hymn "Come to the garden" as a duet with my Mom many years ago in church. Beautiful it is.

But your post was so true and so heartwarming. Now if we could only live like that on a daily basis, but I fear we are human! But I do the best I can, and I know you do too.
