Sunny Days Ally Cat Quilt by Krackers Goes to Ohio

Friday, April 30, 2010

Avalon is a little girl of 7 who lives in Ohio. Avalon has been fighting cancer for most years in her short life.
A good friend of the family contacted me for an Ally Cat Quilt by Krackers for her. She told me Avalon's favorite color is yellow, and that she thinks the entire world would be a better place if it was all yellow.

On the back of the quilt, I quilted in words of encouragement: Love, Live, Happy, Hugs, Prayers.

Since I used a solid YELLOW anti-fleece backing, the quilted in flowers and words really show up there. I am hoping they give her a lot of pleasure.

Avalon looks, by her photos, as a sunny child. She likes blue and purple shiny wigs, and just looks darling in them.

I can't give you a photo of her; I respect her privacy and confidentiality. Just know she does need prayers.

If you know of ANY kid between 8-18 who is up against cancer, please let me know their names and addresses, and any other information you have about the child, and a quilt will be made and sent out.

It is the least we can do for these children and their brave families. It is always a blessing when we can do something for some one else! I appreciate you all. Love, Sandy

You can see more detailed photos of the quilt on my page.
