SEE MY LAST BLOG POST FOR THE SCHEDULE!
Today my upper body is SORE! I don't know if I'm going to be able to do Kelly Coffey's 30 Minutes to Fitness Weights today. If I do, I'm going to have to lay off the upper body work. Woo weeeee...that's what I get for becoming a cardio baby for the past few weeks. DOMS city over here!!!
QUICK REVIEWS! --for those of you who work out at home like me!
*Squeeze Stronger, by Tracy Effinger, is a fast paced, hardcore, full body workout...love! Tried it for the first time Monday and it rocked!!! Put me sore the next day. One thing I didn't like about the workout is that it doesn't have enough back work. The legs, AB and core sections rock! Moves fast!
*Defining Shape was OK, but I like Tracie Long's style of workout so I completed the entire workout with flying colors using heavy weight. Tried it for the first time on Tuesday. It was not as tough as some of the workouts I'm used to doing, but it's a very effective one. One thing I didn't like about it is that it doesn't have enough chest work in it. Moves fast!
*Cardio Barre Advanced, by Richard Giorla, is fun fun you guys! Check it out if you don't know. It was the first time I ever did barre workout or a workout like this period. The time went by so fast. This workout is very good for building core strength as well as tightening your tush and your legs. Lots O' reps! Rep city! Love, love! A great full body workout! Moves fast!
Tonight is Kelly Coffey's 30 Minutes to Fitness Weights...I did this workout before and I like it...the active rests are annoying, but needed. Ha! If I can't do this one with heavy weight I'll drop down to a 2lb pair of weights just to get through the upper body. I will pump out my push ups though...need the chest work.
