My first week in the new healthstudio

Hey, I invented a new word: "Healthstudio".. and I like it. This describes best the new gym I am going to, because there I also attend my nutrition class. I had my first week there, the fitness test, the consultation of the supporting doctor who gave me the GO. It may have been an advantage that he also was my doctor when I was in the clinic.. he was actually the one recommending the gym. And he said, yes cardio is the most important for me but not to forget strength training. I need muscles. So now I am doing cardio controlled by a bloodpressure measurement (I am an high bloodpressure patient) and an ECG. Plus a strength training especially chosen according to my abilities (or better say non-abilities). I had my first nutrition class, where our coach has taken a lot of information from us: when do we eat, where, how, what? My homework was tracking my food (not so hard, since I do this here anyway), but also to fill out what I like to eat and what I don't like to eat. My next class is tomorrow.. and next week there will be another blog with my experiences ;-))

    Very interesting!

Please, keep posting about your experience, I'm quite curious because even my boyfriend suffers of high blood pressure!
