New Week, Progress and Pre-Planning

So my weigh in today has me down a pound. Too bad I didn't weigh in yesterday. I was down two but oh well. This is how I see it. I ate carnival food this weekend and it's going to take a few days to get my body back to burning due to the grease, sodium etc. I'm lucky to have a loss at all. It may mean though that I won't see my 30 lb goal by the end of the week. Bummer! It is what it is though.

Sunday's food reaction was too many bites off a Bloomin Onion. It goes down as one of the worst things you can put in your body. And I'll only say once it's even worse coming out.

My WW meetings have been awesome! 4 pounds lost in two weeks is great! It's what I wanted! I track as much as I possibly can and it's pretty easy. I've found ways to better control my hunger and I'm much happier now that I feel like I've got some control again.

The meeting yesterday was great! Best part is my leader let us know about some low point sales at Kroger and Publix.

If there is one in your area, check these out:

Kroger: The bakery has a sale on Angel Food Cake that is 1 point per slice and 5 points for the entire cake. Add some cool whip free and some strawberries and you have a nice filling dessert for under150 cals or 3 points!

Publix: Simply Potatoes red potato wedges. 1/2 cup is 50 cals or 1 point. Have a cup for 2 points! Season those bad boys for a nice filling side with your protein.

Check the publix add this week as well. There is a receipe for cheese stuffed meatloaf I want to try. Just add fat free ingredients instead. Who's with me??!!

This week's meal plan

Breakfast: Jimmy Dean D-Lites Sasuage and Egg on a Croissant

Lunch: Hormel Natural Ham sammitch with EVOO Mayo and LC cheese

Snack: Banana, Lara Bar, Melon

Dinner: Chicken Cordon Bleu - The healthy version of course. Hungry Girl is probably going to be my receipe source. I will make three or four pieces for the week.

Dessert: Angel Food Cake

    Excellent job on the weight loss! emoticon I have Kroger near me and will have to check out the angel food cake. Is it a sugar free variety? I haven't had a bloomin onion in a long time! If you want a real shocker, check out the calories for an elephant ear. Won't be indulging in one of those for quite some time.

    Love you meal plan and really love your success on the WW plan. You know, you're losing at a nice steady rate and if you don't quite make the big goal you still are learning great eating and coping skills....I bet you're seeing big changes in your body too! Keep up the great work!

    I have never had a blooming onion but I have had some greasy onion rings that upset my stomach for days.

The menu sounds delicious.

    I don't get bored so much. My job keeps me from adding variety. I don't have a lot of time I guess. I love the JD Delites though. Sandwich is the same each week too. Takes too long to prepare anything else. I try to change up dinner from week to week and prepare in bulk. Next week will be a new receipe.

    I had the same type of WI. I was down 2 on Sunday and for today's WI was only down 1.2..oh well. I wasn't the best during the week so its probably catching up to me!

Good job on the loss though - at least the scale is going down! emoticon

You got it girl, great plan. Good attitude! I love that you are eating the same thing everyday... hahaha, you don't get bored? I guess I eat a lot of the same thing too. Way to go!

    Thank you! I'm trying to make losing weight fun. Not just a chore! By learning new receipes, shopping, sharing. Learning not to get so frustrated with myself. It's making a difference!
