Rate the Day

Monday, April 26, 2010

Well I've been rating my days and they are pretty much between 3 and 7 mostly in the middle because I keep latching on to a cookie or a llittle bowl of ice cream. Usually not enough to bump me out of my calorie range. I just don't lose and pounds unless I amin the lowest part of the calorie range. I'm working on it but have already messed up the day with a cookie...they are now gone.

When I lived alone, I learned that I couldn't have those things in the house without tasting a little bit here or there. So, I kept it all out of the house. I moved in with my sister and her kids and blew up 40 pounds. I had to get on Jenny Craig, where the only non-Jenny Craig foods I eat are veggies and fruit, and it was easier to just say, "That's not Jenny Craig food; I can't have that.". Plus, JC also has tasty snacks like cheesecakes and cookies, so I still make my sweet tooth happy. This plan has gotten me almost halfway to my goal, and now I'm starting to slowly return to the 'real' world's food, and I'm finding it easier to not cheat. I guess my thinking has changed from, "I can have a little of this now and maybe a little of this later" to "I'm not going to have that."

Good luck in finding something that works for you. I know you can do it.
