On June 14, I am starting summer classes (I have taken the past year off - am getting to know myself/working through some issues). but in exactly seven weeks I will be back at school starting a new adventure. I'm nervous but feeling ready to get back! BUT i want to feel better about my body. My attitude is so much better than it was this time last year and I feel better about myself in many ways. I want to work really hard on eating healthy and losing weight before heading back to school - i hope to lose 15+ pounds and then continue losing more when i get to school.
Get on track!!
South Beach phase 1 - focus on eating lots of veggies, good sources of fat, lots of yummy protein
Start doing cardio daily
Start developing a strength training program
Sneak in little ways to exercise
Stick with my program!!!
Don't let my motivation falter!
Experiment with some new recipes and adding new foods to my usual plan - can anyone give me some healthy SB-diet approved ideas?
Try out new cardio Zumba, yoga, spinning - find something I like
Draw out a defnite strength training program
Start SB diet phase 2/1.5
SLOWLY add more carbs - pay very close attention to weight loss/gain
Keep adding more carbs
Run more often
Try new things - new recipes, new exercises, etc
At this time I will be a month into my program and I'll reassess my goals. I'll need to keep motivated and keep my diet fresh so I might want to focus on becoming a better runner or really focusing on my abs or trying out a Jillian Michaels program or something. In terms of eating, I'll decide whether I want to stay on SB at this point and either stick with it or segway into a low calorie diet supplemented by exercise.
I'm sticking with my points but starting over!
Still tracking those in my "Other Goals"
Every 100 points i'll give myself a reward such as mani/pedi, new dress, new swimsuit, new sunglasses etc - i'll think about if theres some reward I really want and figure that out.
Let me know if anyone wants to join me! This seven week time period would be perfect for a pre-summer challenge since bikini weather is really starting in early June! My plan is prettuy personal but I would love it if someone else is really trying to be serious and we can help each other out and keep each other on track!!
