LiveFit Revolution - Day 5

I ended up not doing the kettlebell workout today and instead did the cardio workout. I did it on my bike in the living room in order to spend time with the family instead of going in my room for an hour and doing the kettlebell workout alone. Alysia didn't say anything about using a bike rather than walking/running but I figured since we could in our normal walking routine it would be okay in the cardio workout as well. It sure got my heart rate up and my legs are burning like they caught fire. I think that classifies as a satisfactory workout, how about you? I had a cramp in my foot mid-way through that I had to work out, but I just kept riding and eventually, it went away.

I'm a bit apprehensive about Monday's weigh-in. I'm not counting on a huge loss like a lot of the members are to be truthful. The reason for this is because I have actually raised my carbohydrate intake with this nutrition plan. I was eating the same number of calories as this before LiveFit, the only difference is I was not eating fruit and I was eating dairy. It's so hard to go from a plan like Atkins and then start eating stuff like fruit and rice. I guess we'll see on Monday.

Anyway, I'm not very sore which is a good thing. A very good thing. I feel good about working out and I look forward to it now. I feel proud that I can do it. I look forward to a time that I can raise the weight of my kettlebell and have more muscle.

I'll stop rambling now. I'm tired. emoticon emoticon

    That scale is my pain in the ass!! I focus more on how I feel and my inches lost. The scale doesn't always tell the whole truth. It cannot differentiate how much fluid you may be retaining, how much muscle you have built, etc.... Just focus on the great work you are doing!!! Have a great Sunday!!

    Don't worry about your weigh in this week, remember that a lot of times when you start eating carbohydrates again, you will retain some water. This will resolve itself in a week or two so don't be upset with the scale if it doesn't cooperate this week and show the hard work you've done.

I loved the kettlebell class that I had taken. It's too bad it hasn't fit in my schedule recently.

You've been doing great! Keep up the good work!
