I missed blogging yesterday but DH was on the computer and I never got a chance to blog. I did not make my goal of walking 10,000 steps yesterday. However, I've done well today and the other days of the week. I have drank my goal for my water and I walked over 3 miles each day.

I've had a long and somewhat stressful week-but that's another blog. I just wanted to check in and let everyone know that I am still in the race. I have been reading my new book and am going to get my grocery shopping done as well as find a good cooler to take to work.

I am quite excited about the school/career front. I printed out some stuff from the site. I want to be certified a Children's Fitness Specialist. The prerequisite is to be certified as a Personal Trainer and in Nutrition & Wellness. So I have filled out the necessary paperwork to apply for tuition assistance through work. I have to wait until I go back to work next week to see if my director will sign off on it. If so, then I should be a go to get started on my new career journey. To be continued...

I hope I am not out of line saying this! When you have a lack of free time, I really suggest using your time to track nutrition and fitness rather than catching up on friends blogs. These are the MOST IMPORTANT tools at SP. I love my friends and learn so much from their blogs, but what's most important is keeping my food and activity balanced!

I hope you are having a wonderful day, Simone!

That is exciting that you are thinking about a new career change to a Certified Children's Fitness Specialist and a Personal Trainer and Nutrition and Wellness Expert.

Maybe when you start doing these it will keep you focused on your own diet. It would be good for you because you will be forced to be eating more fruits and vegetables and whole grains. You won't be eating any of the pre packaged stuff they try to pass off as food and no more preservatives. You will be killing 2 birds with one stone. You will start eating healthier and the weight will start melting away. You will be focused and be exercising everyday including some weight training. Oh the stuff you will learn will be priceless. It will get your weight off once and for all and you will be able to go out and make a living at it once you have reached your goal weight so that you can be a role model to your clients.

I am excited for you! emoticon emoticon emoticon
