Well its been three weeks since I started my walking goal of 12 miles a week. Twelve miles proved to hard for my bad ankle, so I am walking 9 miles and burning 500 calories another way - depends upon how I feel. Last week I did yard work for about 5 hours. This week I am going to do "other" cardio. I have lost 4 pounds... Woohoo!
Ive also found some creative ways to cut some of those extra calories:
We have tacos twice a week - I have cut out the taco shell and I am cutting about 200 calories per meal.
Don and I love cake - I made the cake, but did not frost it, again I am cutting about 200 calories there.
I drink cranberry juice every day for my kidney health, I buy the lite juice. I still get all of the benefits of the cranberries but not so much sugar and calories.
I am trying to measure every serving. When I say try - I am not perfect at cutting pizza,ect.
Some things you just gotta estimate.
Water of course is my beverage of choice all day long. I dont want to drink my calories.
Two weeks off of the fish oil and my eyes are almost 100% back to normal. I am still experiencing some dizzyness, but not like I was.
I keep on keeping on... I will not give in and I wont give up!
