Got the all clear today

Monday, April 19, 2010

I went to the doc today and got the all clear to start using the treadmill again. Yippee!
It has been hard because I have not been able to exercise for over 2 months. Pneumonia does that to a person lol

We also spent some time talking about my diabetes and how my numbers have been doing and changes to meds to try to get things better controlled. I told him I wish I could find a copy of the Canadian Diabetic exchange list and he agreed with me that it was a great program, but of course his agreeing it is a good program does not help me get a copy of it. So I still struggle with this new fangled counting grams. I hate that. Everyone says it is so easy, but I do not find it so.

Anyway, all in all, a good visit today.

E-mail the Canadian Diabetic Association and ask for the information you are looking for. They should have what you want. emoticon emoticon

Congratulations! I know that I have only really been exercising for about 3 months, but I think I would really miss it if I couldn't do it.

It is good that you can get back on the treadmill. Good luck figuring out the new system. "Old dogs can learn new tricks."
