Who Says Farmville Isn't A Brain Game?

Saturday, April 17, 2010

Well, my whole family claims that the game is addicting and it's nearly brain dead. This from the boys who play video games all day long and don't clean, do laundry, shop, babysit, cook, read, etc.
I've learned a lot from Farmville. In fact, I went to the Farmer's Market today to get fresh produce. I just got an urge. I've learned that fallow fields are fields just lying there doing nothing. Saanen goats are the largest breed and are from Switzerland, Boer goats are big in Ohio and their meat is good, and sabawah pigs are descended from wild pigs and probably came from Africa.
So don't tell me Farmville is a brain dead game. It keeps me from snacking!

Whatever works for you is a good thing. I block all those games on my FB account because I don't want to risk the addiction. But if it works for you, then you should stick with it. Good luck on your journey.

My dad is a farmer and he plays it..lol! My 6 year old drives my hubby nuts wanting to play it all the time! I'm staying away from FB so I've never played. I'm glad you're learning a lot from it...you never know when that knowledge might come in handy!
