This week hasn't been too bad. I started my classes Monday and I *may* end up surviving the semester without pulling my hair out and running in terror.
I weigh myself every day. I know some folks don't like to, but I weigh every morning and log it to see a trend in how my weight losses (or gains) work. I've noticed something about me. I tend to stay the same weight for 3, 4, even 5 days in a row, and have a big weight loss "jump" at the end. It hasn't failed yet in the two months I've been tracking it. I'd love to know what is causing that, but who knows, really? It's a love-hate relationship. I'll rant and rave about how my weight has not changed in x amount of days and then the next day I get on the scale, that "jump" appears.
My metabolism is on life support. I am in the process of buying a GoWear Fit to see just how many calories I am burning. I'm sure I know the answer though -- not many. Hypothyroidism sucks. I need to figure out what ways I can help boost my metabolism. I've tried all the usuals -- eating breakfast, working out, strength training, etc. I'm even taking a B vitamin complex to help, but nope, not really working like I'd hope. I'm hoping the GoWear Fit can help me figure out what activity or exercise I do burns the most calories so I can do that more often.
I see my doc on Tuesday. Hopefully he's all thrilled with my progress as I am.
