Surviving the tornadoes

I am feeling very blessed today as I feel everyday but after seeing all the people in my state,Mn that have lost everything including health and life I can't help but feel blessed , I have a home,my husband has a good job,actually 3 jobs, we are fed, probably too much, and I have a healthy family. What more can you want? I lost my home 10 yrs ago to a fire and I know how hard it is too lose everything you own. Appreciate everything you have,and if you lost everything know that the Lord will get you through it.

    I know what you mean. Hope today's better. We have many bad days behind us and many ahead. Can we do it!? Yes, we can! because we must!
    I have no choice. Must get healthy! Must fight. This would all be fine if I had a fighting bone in my body, which I do not!
    So, I push sort of despite all the crap in my life.
    Lonely is a bad word. Bad place! Got to chase it away with everything you got!

    Sorry you felt that way and I surely hope it passed. Do you like to bake, I do so that is what I do when I am feeling bad. I freeze the cookies, muffins etc and then donate them to my church or to an organization that bakes for the soldiers that are in rehab near here. Consider something like that. It has worked well for me.

    Do anything that makes you feel better about yourself. It might be finishing a project, cleaning, cooking, exercising, helping others, or making and eating a healthy meal. Then admire yourself for accomplishing something that was good for you and it should be a boost for your mood. Also, get outside and soak up some of the Vitamin D with today's sunshine. We all could use more light these days!
    Not enough sunshine in Minnesota in the winter months, so we need to get more now while we can.

    I also feel lonely most of the time. Yes it is hard to deal with!!! I understand what
    you are feeling. Turn on the radio or listen to some tunes while you are working.
    If you can get out of the house, or call a friend. That always helps me.
    Just some suggestions....Take care of you; that is very important!! Hope you have

    Walking in nature helps me also. anywhere there are trees or water, especially moving water. Joint a meet up group for your city that have such groups. There are hundreds in my city. it is free. where you put in your zip code and type of interest. e.g. walking. I now belong to 5 walking groups so there are several choices a week. Good for mind and body

    Why not go to a downtown-type area and go for a walk. Challenge yourself to say hi to people as you walk by and to start a conversation with a friendly looking stranger. Sounds dorky, but you would be surprised at how good you feel after.
