When some folks lose weight, they talk about "fitting in". They "fit in" smaller clothes, like favorite jeans.
I was sitting in a metal office chair today, in the office of my boss...a place where I have sat hundreds of times, squeezing into the chair, rubbing both sides. I noticed today that I "fit in" better.
While getting my haircut last week, in a stylist's chair where I have sat dozens of times....in the past it was a tight spot! I noticed this last time that I sank into the chair easier and "fit in" much nicer.
At a restaurant recently, my wife and I found that they offered only booths for seating. Often, in eating places, a booth is a snug fit for me, rubbing my gut, and causing me to ask "table please" if one is available. At this recent visit, however, I found that I slid into the booth seat smoothly and "fit in" easily.
Thanks Sparkpeople, for helping me lose weight and "fit in" better!
