I am at 51 weeks of a streak - 51 weeks exercising at least 225 minutes per week . Most weeks I exercised 300 minutes or more but.....51 weeks straight. emoticon
The streak started the week that I did the More Half Marathon 2009 and the 52nd week will coincide with me doing the 2010 More Marathon in NYC.
Someone on SP put up a blog asking whether or not a the sparkstreaks helped motivate you and I can answer a resounding YES!!!! Many weeks I would look at that streak ( I think week 26 was one of them ) and I thought about not exercising or taking a week off but I could not bear seeing that streak go back to "0" , so I would either go for a walk or go to the gym - telling myself that I would work out for 15 minutes and if I did not feel well , I would leave. Funny thing is , I have NEVER left , I always stayed and completed the workout , always feeling 200% better once I was done.
I am so proud of myself. Can not wait until next week - I will see the streak turn to 52 weeks and I will complete the More Half Marathon! emoticon!
Then I will work on 104 weeks.

Some people think you need something big or expensive to motivate them when the truth is you just need something that works for you and you're willing to place it at the top of the daily to-do don't need me to tell you you've come a long way... emoticon to finishing week 52 and then some emoticon emoticon
