SLIPPED, BUT I DIDNT FALL

It's hard for me to stay focus when you are surrounded by people who does not have the same goal as you when it comes to losing weight. The thing i need to do is eat the proper foods...I started off great this morning with plain bagel, snack, and lunch...but i forgot to eat dinner. Not to say that I wanted to forget but when I am doing so many things like work, school, workout, i totally forgot to eat...LOL...When i got home it was 9pm and the only thing i had to eat was a half of hotdog!!!

Talk about disappointment. I am going to the grocery store TODAY and i'm getting the proper food. I might have slipped but I didnt fall...still on the grind with losing weight.

    Hey there,

    Good job on not falling. Most of the time when we slip its not because we wanted to, it just happens without warning. But at least you didn't give in to it. You pulled yourself up and did what you needed to do and moved on. You didn't dwell on it, like some do, you looked at it, learned from it, and put it away never to be seen or heard from again.

    As long as we learn from our mishaps chances are we wont repeat them. Keep the good work and may God continue to bestow his blessings upon you as you continue with your healthy lifestyle changes.

    Keep moving forward. When we stumble, we need to get back up and continue on toward our goal, learning what caused us to stumble and watch out for it the next time.

    You have the right determination and attitude. You aren't beating yourself up over it, instead you are learning and gaining momentum from it. One thing I do is, I also have small grab and go snacks prepared in the fridge for me so when I get a craving it is easy to grab one.
