OK....I was under the delusion that losing weight was simply a matter of mathematics.
Calories in less calories burned equals weight loss success.
But it turns out that not all calories are created equal. I've been eating out a lot during the last week, even having a few alcoholic drinks along the way. I was carefully tracking all of the things that I ate, and only went over calories a couple of days. I was going along my merry way, still expecting a weight loss this week. But the scale isn't budging. In fact, I'm up a few pounds.
I'm going back to the basics for a few days, hoping to get myself back on track.
