This vow I'm referring to is the proudness I feel for myself knowing that I ate very healthy this week and I stayed on track with my fitness so now I am about to start a new week with the drive to do the same thing this week. I took off from fitness today, to rest up my muscles for the week and it felt fantastic, although we took our dog to an awesome event in Dallas called the Dog Bowl where we walked a lot. I know this is just one week but even though I did not stay totally within my daily caloric intake every single day, I did for the most part eat very healthy the entire week and made wise choices even on the weekend. That's a first for me in a long while. You see, I have issues with the weekends. My brain has been programmed that when Friday, 4 pm hits, it's martini, beer and a lot of bad food choices from then till Sun. I call the weekends my "sabotagers" because for some reason I just can't make the right choices....I think of it as of late as my treat for being good M-F....which is completely wrong. In my eyes, at least, one needs to make good food choices all of the time and every now and then splurge in moderation.
I am about to indulge in the third week of April with the hopes of shooting high with my goals and continuing the streak I am on. I hope to stay within my calories, exercise 6 days and have a fantastic week just like last week!
