ALMOST BLEW IT! DAY 6 WEEK 2

We finished up the church sale today. I couldn't make it to Curves cause they are only open 9-11 AM Sat.
I had to go to RiteAid to print out some pictures of my GS's birthday party. BIG MISTAKE! not the pictures. Just when I checked out, I passed by an end cap with EASTER CANDY......5O% off. I didn't buy any for Easter but I couldn't resist the sale. M&M peanuts...one of my favorites!! YUM YUM!! I hadn't had many sweets since we started the challenge so I ate probably 2 packs worth before dinner. Eeeeuw! I almost got sick from eating them. But I saved the day by doing my best to keep in my range. Maybe not the most nutritious plan for the day. but it could have been much worse. And it spoiled my plan to do some strength exercises when I got home cause I was too queasy to do anything. I know better but sometimes we don't always do what we should do. Anyway, I got it out of my system. and tomorrow will be a much better day!
PS We had a really heavy frost this morning but my lilacs were just fine when I uncovered them!

    Oh my that Easter candy or any sweetened candy is a beast. I tell it is the devil emoticon . Me diabetic and still slipping. Lord please me.

    Certain foods we grew up eating are hard to resist. My philosophy is moderation! I even have dark chocolates in our home, except not right in front of my eyes. This way there is no resistance issue - more like forgetting! Once in a while whenever I have the urge, I shall eat whatever I like in moderation. Whatever works for each of us, Right? Here are some calorie free goodies for you.

    You did GREAT! So what if you had a yummy snack - you only had 2 packs, not the entire thing!!! KUDOS to you! Oh, and if you want, you can add those PEANUTS as a PROTEIN!

Glad you got that out of your system - you're back on the track and not letting a little indulgence derail you from your goals.
Glad to hear the lilacs pulled through - and hope that was the last frost for the season.

    Glad to hear that your lilacs were fine this morning...crazy weather we are having for sure. Tomorrow is another day in which you can do the best you can. You are so right...tomorrow will be a better day!!! Today is over...it's in the past...let it stay there. Hope your Sunday is a great one!!!
