I am really trying not to obsess about the scale. You are going to laugh because it isn't so much about the number on the scale. You see I have one of those 'smart' scales that remembers what you weighed from before, when you have a weight loss a little arrow points down and shows how much you lost. And if you gain, well the arrow points up..ugh!
I really try to only get on the scale once a week, but sometimes I just can not help myself! I have to see which way the arrow will point.
On Monday I mowed the grass and it was HOT. Well when you work outside and its hot, there is nothing like a really cold beer. I honestly tried to put off the urge, drank a ton of water, tried lemonade, but it just wouldn't take away the urge. So fine. I chose an Ultra Lite, which is not too bad on carbs or calories. So, on Tuesday I had to get on the scale to see how much damage I had done. The arrow of coarse pointed up, but only 1.2, not great but not too bad.
I had to get on the scale this morning. The last few days have been good. And, it was in my favor. The arrow pointed down and it was a 2.1 loss. Not too shabby.
I joined Spark months ago but really only started using it February 17. So I track my weeks from that point. That means in 7 and 3/7 weeks I have lost 19 pounds. Now that is really not too shabby! Still not under 200...but baby steps friends!
