I officially have half a pound to lose and then I will have lost a quarter of the weight I need to!
I did have a bad day around Easter and stuffed my face with candy, but the rest of the time I have been sensible and I'm losing weight steadily at about 1 pound per week.
I've been working up my running and this week I am going to be running a 5k 3 days of the week with a 3 minute break half way.
I hope that next week I will be able to do the whole thing without a break and from there just work on reducing my time.
As well as that, I have been doing 3 sets of 10 simple burpees in the morning to get my metabolism up and get my body going in general.
(These are burpees. I am not quite as sprightly as the guy in this video, but I'm getting there.

I'm pretty happy with my progress and hopefully once I am up to doing the full 5k I'll start dropping 2 pounds per week instead.
My goal is to be at my target weight by November 5th (Guy Fawkes Night) and once I am there I can be working more on general strength and appearance.
