Workout room makeover

Thursday, April 08, 2010

Okay, the basement flooded, the carpet is gone, and it's drying nicely. In another room in the basement (no carpet) where my son used to workout, we put down a 10'x15' black, rubber, snap together mat a few years ago. This weekend, I'm going to move a section of that to my workout room and move my equipment back in. I've been thinking about putting up some motivational workout posters too and now's a good time. Actually, it'll be better than working out on the carpet! For now, I'm headed to the "temporary" space for an upper body workout. Hubby and I are still not speaking (okay, I'm a hard-headed Type A!). Trying to stay positive (sometimes it is SOOOO difficult!).....until tomorrow....

Way to go on the workout room.
Ask yourself 'what is this going to get me in the long run'
Then take a long look at your hubby.....

My x-Husband was so stubborn that for an entire year of our marriage he slept on the couch because I asked him to take a bath before he got his mechanic grease into bed.

Sometimes we can be so silly.

    Notice I said X-husband.
I took a long look and he really wasn't worth keeping anyway.

Glad everything is dry and you are getting on with your workout. You and hubby should kiss and make-up, life's too short.
