What a wonderful & blessed we had yesterday! The day started off a little cloudy but the sun actually started to shine but noon. The kids were out in the suits playing & showing off like we used to do as kids. The church lots were filled & me & mine made it early & had fellowship & it was
to be in the presence of the Lord.
Of course, I cooked up a storm, beef short ribs, baked honey ham, baked chicken, turnip/mustard greens, yams, spaghetti (left over), corn bread turkey stuffing & dinner rolls. I didn't do breakfast so the smells coming from the kitchen co-mingling together had the dog's mouth watering! lol We had a wonderful dinner & spent time with each other, laughing, joking & just being close together.
The hubby decided to go see Why Did I Get Married 2. Well I hate going to the movies but one of my goals is to come out of comfortable skin. It was a Easter & Sunday with combination it was too crowded. So once we were inside, I couldn't believe so many people brought their young children to see this movie. My hubs wanted to leave but I wouldn't let him cause it was his ideal & I was out & not up to do again another day. The movie was good, Tosha was gettin on my last nerve, her mouth moving a million miles a minute but the plot was decent. So we left & it was raining. So we got outside & I was wearing my 4in boots so I ready to get home. Well there was this sweet little angel, came up to me & held my hand & said, she was lost. She couldn't find her people. She didn't know her phone number or what movie they were going to see. I told my feet, "Peace!" & they walked her back inside to security. My hubs didn't want to just leave her, so we waited & 2minutes here comes her family. Now answer me this, why were they inside & she was running around outside approaching people? Anyone could've snatched her up! I was sick to my stomach! Then I think of myself not much bigger than her, when I walked some 16blocks from church to my house. Why? Cause I thought my mom left me. Yes, the police were called & I was celebrated instead of punished. Thank God for my mother. . . . . .
God bless & Happy Manic Monday!
