It was the first day of real Spring here and I gloried in it. Sunshine, soft breezes....perfect!
I started the day with 1 hr on the treadmill. Yep, a full hour! I varied the incline or speed every 5 minutes and the time just went by. I never got above 3.8 mph or 4 incline, but I can feel myself making progress. Although I'm tired, my foot isn't painful or too swollen.
Then I really concentrated on my food intake for the day. Not doing as well on water, but I came in UNDER my calorie and carb range. How did that happen???? I'm always fighting to stay under the top limit in both! So tomorrow I will concentrate on getting more carbs in. That should help increase the calories too. But I'm pleased!
I now have a new goal. When the wedding was over and there was nothing else to work toward, I let myself get lazy. So I know that I have to set goals or I'll keep falling off the stupid wagon. So I want to go from a size 12 to a size 10 by the time I go to my niece's college graduation mid-May. I think I can do it, but at least I'm going to TRY. I'll just have to keep coming up with target goals so I guess I'll just have to keep planning fun things to aim for!
Enough for today. It's nice to have a positive blog. Yep. Really nice. But I'm keeping my logo for a bit longer!
