Today is one of those days when we remember why we live in Florida! I went for a walk early this morning and enjoyed seeing some of the community members setting up for a big Easter egg hunt for later in the morning. I hope all the kids enjoyed it - it looked like hundreds of plastic eggs were being spread around and hidden.

When I got home, I drank a big glass of water and then went outside and chopped all the dead branches off the asparagus ferns - I only got stuck two times with the thorns! Raking up the dead branches is always a challenge as they stick together so badly but it got accomplished. We definitely have too much of the fern as it keeps reproducing itself - don't plant it unless you really love it.

By then I was ready for a shower and some breakfast and guess what - more water!
