I Feel Pretty . . .

Its another gorgeous day here in the city of Chicago, so me & my Shadow went walking down the avenue. lol We created quite a stir but we kept high stepping. emoticon emoticon emoticon So do you see that beautiful edible arrangement in the pic above? Well even though it was my off day, I actually received this at the office today! emoticon emoticonDid I tell you guys that I feel pretty today? lol Anyway, I order food for our meetings & classes, so there was an individual observing lent so I tried to make sure I ordered pasta fettuccine & soup. Well he wanted to pay me cash for ordering special for him but I believe in fasting & giving up things for lent so I told him it wasn't necessary. Well, I guess he went above & beyond & bought me this edible bouquet. I got the call this morning & man, I almost jumped out of my skin! I kept wondering who is Humburto? Well, no good deed goes unnoticed. I try to be nice even when I'm impatient. We never know who's watching us. Amen.

Today, did loads of walking, QFC, yoga stretches & weights.

    hey there chica - thank you for the goodie. i loved what you said about ordering some cathe. amazon.com i think has the lowest priceses i have seen. ebay is good to if you can stand allt he bidding and my favirote place to get workout videos is craigslist. happy hunting. i am coming to chicago in july and would love to get a work out in with you. hubby and i are meeting friends up there for the chicago cubs - stl game. i have had the pleasure of meeting up with 3 spark friends in the last two years. its july 23rd weekend. the game is at 12:05 on the 23rd so we can meet at the crack and do a workout and spark each other. hopefully i will be in the 50s by then!

    Having never met you, I can tell you are pretty...inside and out. Kindness begets kindness...the more you give, the more you get. I'm not surprised people would want to do nice things for you

    Dee, that sounds wonderful.........Your pretty so, it's good that your feeling good in your own skin.

Since Monday is my Taylor's birthday........I have all the teenagers over right now as I type. Taylor is doing the birthday thing for the next two weeks, so she has a house full right now.......but what I've done today is talk to all the girls about not putting their heart out their so soon while they are so young. A few were depressed because they don't have dates for junior or senior prom........I somehow was able to tell them that they have their whole lives ahead of them.....these young men are not serious.....and they shouldn't be so serious at 16, 17 & 18.......so that's my Good Friday. Can you believe that I'll have a 17 year old......where has the time gone.....LOL

Stay feeling oh so pretty.....that's what happens when your beautiful on the inside.
