I'll admit it... March was a disaster for me. It started off great, but the last two weeks have been a battle. I increase my runs to 4 miles, but everything I ate seemed to stick tight and refused to leave. I did reach my goal in the end. It just took a lot of punishing work and dedication to get there.
So for April, I'm going to stick to my 4 mile runs/3 days a week and do something else besides run 2 days out of the week. (1 of those days I have to work on steep hills to get ready for backpacking, and I suppose the other day will be whatever gets me motivated to move.) Also, I HAVE to start strength training and be serious about it. Not just do it once a week and call it good enough. 8 weeks until swimsuit season, so it's crunch-time. Literally.
However, I am celebrating some milestones for myself. Today marks a 20 lbs loss since last May when I joined SP. More importantly, it also marks a total of 40 lbs lost since my highest weight recorded back in Sept. 2008.
