Friday is the day that Christians around the world remember when Christ died on the cross for our eternal salvation. Sunday is the day we celebrate his rising from the dead.
Most "western" governments have declared Good Friday as a Statutory holiday. However, many people use it as an excuse for just another day off from work.
Don't get me wrong,as a child I loved the Easter Candy and Easter Egg Hunts, and as an adult, I love getting time off from work. But this season should have special meaning. For that reason, I believe between Good Friday and Easter Sunday, that Sunday is the more important day. Yes, we should always remember that Christ was crucified, but if we focus on the fact that Christ broke the chains of death, by arising from the dead, we have true everlasting salvation.
