I'm over my pity party. I'm trying this yet again. And we'll see what happens. Monday morning the scale said 182.8 and I started eating the lowest amount of calories I've ever tried at no more than 1350 a day. This morning I'm already down to 178.4. (Water weight for sure)

In the past if I was hungry, I ate. I didn't over eat and I didn't eat junk. But I did eat. So with Dear Husband's advice (whether he knows it or not) I'm going to just deal with being hungry. I have my meals planned for the day, I have my snacks planned, and that's all I get. And one thing I'm trying is to just drink myself full :) So I'm loading up on water (13 cups yesterday!!!) and tea if I can (have to get to the store and buy me some!) Hopefully I don't burn out on this. And I actually see results.

Only time will tell.

Aw honey, I'm with ya. I don't overeat, either ... and what I eat is good food, not junk. But unless I really restrict my calories (more than I feel like I should have to), I either gain or stall. So ... I feel your pain.

As long as I'm "empty" by day's end, and go to bed a bit hungry, I continue to lose. But I don't LIKE to go to bed hungry. I feel like 1200 or 1300 calories is just so LITTLE that I start feeling all sorry for myself. But ... I'll stop feeling sorry for myself and join you. Low cal it is.

Hey, weight is weight, water or not! It was being stored somewhere for some reason and now you've given it the heave-ho! Congrats!

Make sure to slow down when you eat as well. It really does help.

Personal experience . . .

Woo hoo on the weight loss. It may not be just water. What I found when I am hungry and I don't want to eat anything, I grab some gum to chew on. It gives my mouth something to do.

You will do it!!! Keep up the good work!!!
