March 2008 - Can't tell me I ain't sexy, but still knew I needed to lose weight.


January 2010 - Going for a walk with my son on New Years day. Turned out to last 4 hours. Whew! I even went on the swing at the park like ole' times. I gatta upload that video...its hilarious.

January 2010 - After my first workout of 2010. Can still see the sweat.

January 2010 - I was trying on a suit I haven't worn in about 12 years. I was so stoked!


Here is that suit I was talkin bout, my favorite pin striped suit. Haven't been able to button that jacket in 12 years.


March 2009 - 1 year ago. Yep there I am hiding behind my son. Was just about the time I was getting really serious about my diet and exercise. I can't even wear this dress anymore, its too big. I think its a 2X or 3X.


Check me out in my new "splexy" (aka spendidly sexy) size 14 dress! March 2010 - look at those ta tas. lol


June 2009 - Front view of my stomache in mirror at work, in my work pants - ('scuse da dirty mirror)


March 2010 - Latest Front view of my stomache. I am now wearing jeans to work because my khaki work pants are too big. (btw, these jeans are also too big) You can almost see my belly button now. lol.
I have lost 12 inches in my waist alone in the last 11 months!

Okay guys, its 1:30 in the morning. No more pics, I am tired.

The above comparison shows that if I can do it, anyone can! Our culture in The Bahamas is somewhat like the southern culture in the US. We have rich, decadent foods....MMMMM and I hate exercise. But I did it, I'm doing it. Went from a size 24 to a size 14 (not done yet though).
I just made little changes in my diet, and I am now surprising myself by being able to drink my herbal tea without sugar! I have a major sweet tooth. (we call it being "sweet mouthed" here in Baha.)
This is the girl that would still be in bed at 8 AM and had to be to work for 9 AM. I now get up (most of the times) at 5:45 AM, pop in a workout DVD and sweat it out.
How did I do it? I just started by waking up 10 minutes earlier than usual in the morning and did a 10 to 30 minute workout and kept getting up earlier gradually, now I get up 2 hours earlier. Oh and it also helps that I started sticking to an earlier bedtime. (obviously not tonight though, lol)

Okay, now I really have to go to bed, cus I gatta workout in a few hours. TTYL!

Congratulations on such a wonderful before and after. Wish I had your energy in the morning...it's all I can do to get my fingers exercising before I've had my tea!
